Why fashion photography? Was it always the path you wanted to take?
From the very beginning, it was never really a question. I always knew that fashion photography was my thing. I was drawn to shiny, strange, and beautiful details.
It was never about choosing fashion over something else. It was about time, skills, and experience. Learning, practicing, and growing into it. And one day you realize that this is exactly what you were meant to do.
Your work has a very distinct aesthetic. How would you describe it?
My aesthetic is honest and simple. It is beautiful because it comes from real life and how I see the world.
There is beauty everywhere. In every person, every moment, and everything around us. It is easy to find and easy to create, because it already exists. I would describe my photos as simple, beautiful, and fashionable.
How does a photoshoot usually start for you?
It always starts with an idea or a desire to create something. Sometimes you know exactly what you want, and sometimes you only feel that you want to create.
That is when mood boards help again. You look around, talk to friends from the fashion industry, or ask your best friend to be a model. Some projects take months, others happen last minute. That flexibility is the best part of this job. Everything is possible.
